Honey Pecan Pie
It’s pie time! Skip the corn syrup and opt for a natural sugar to sweeten your pecan pie- while still maintaining that signature pecan pie texture! It’s easy with this simple Honey Pecan Pie recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup Tabernash Honey
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2.5 cups chopped pecans
1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)
1/2 cup pecan halves
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Combine sugar and flour in small bowl.
3. Stir in eggs, honey, butter, vanilla and salt.
4. Add chopped pecans.
5. Mix well.
6. Pour into pastry shell in baking dish.
7. Cover edges with foil.
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
9. Remove foil, arrange pecan halves around edge of pie.
10. Bake 20-25 minutes longer, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
11. Cool on wire rack.
