Tabernash Honey's Signature Sea Salted Honey Caramels
Sea Salted Honey Caramels
2 cups Tabernash Honey
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Using a high-sided pot, heat 2 cups of Tabernash Honey on medium until liquidy
Add 1/2 cup sugar and heat until sugar dissolves, bring liquid to a boil.
Cut butter into 1 inch thick knobs and add to mixture. When butter is dissolved, add heavy cream.
Heat mixture til’ it reaches the “soft-ball” stage, about 244 degrees F
Pour mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment
Wait 5 minutes for caramels to cool slightly, then sprinkle with sea salt
Let caramels cool for 1 hour.
Cut into 1/2” pieces
Wrap in wax or parchment paper- and enjoy!
